We work mainly organizing Mountaineering, Trekking, Mountainbiking, gravel biking and ski touring trips along the Araucanioa Volcanos in Chile.
We start most of our trips from pour mountain Lodge "Posada del Rio" located in Malalcahuello.
Andes Mountain Expeditions, with more than 25 years of experience with trips in Chile, we don’t just know our area of Volcanoes and Patagonia, we live here. We live surrounded by 5 volcanoes and know every corner of our area—snow, rivers, lakes, and trails—where we’ve been creating unique travel experiences, now complemented by our mountain lodge, Posada del Rio.
Patagonia - Torres del Paine
We have been guiding in Torres del Paine, Patagonia since 1997. In that time, Torres del Paine was a pristine National Park, almost without services such as refuges, hot showers, meals, maps, etc...so for all our logistics, we carried day by day all our tents, food, using horses and porters. Our experience since these years, give to our today´s trips a uncomparable difference in small and hidden details that make your trip in an a pleasant experience.

We create this place as a dream collecting any detail that we love to share with our clients (friends).
My connection to Patagonia comes from my paternal grandparents who came from Italy and Croatia to live in Punta Arenas. Then they moved to Santiago, and of course, I was born and raised seeing those magnificent Andes Mountains, which gradually drew me to live among them.
I start organizing trip in Torres del Paine, Patagonia since 1997. In that time, Torres del Paine was a pristine National Park, almost without services such as refuges, hot showers, meals, maps, etc...so for all our logistics, we carried day by day all our tents, food, using horses and porters. Our experience since these years, give to our today´s trips a uncomparable difference in small and hidden details that make your trip in an a pleasant experience.
I also returned to the high mountains of central and northern Chile, visiting peaks like Parinacota, Ojos del Salado, Aconcagua, Tupungato, and El Plomo with my clients.
Now, since 2013, my wife, children, and I have moved to the Araucanía volcanic region, where we built our mountain lodge. Here, I've been captivated by its incomparable trails for mountain biking and trekking, and specialy by its snowy slopes for ski touring.
