DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO SANTIAGO
Arrival to Santiago airport. Private transfer from airport to our Hotel. Here our guide will check your personal mountaineering equipment. Dinner not included.

DAY 2-6: EL PLOMO EXPEDITION(5.430M.)
From Day 2 to 6, we will climb El Plomo (5.430m.), impressive mountain next to Santiago, that will be our acclimatization stage. (see El Plomo expedition + 1 extra day for acclimatization)

DAY 7: SANTIAGO – MENDOZA
Ground transfer Santiago – Mendoza. Hotel. Dinner not included.

DAY 8: MENDOZA – PENITENTES
Get the climbing permits at Park office in down town. Private transfer to Penitentes, place near “Puente del Inca” (Inca Bridge) at 2.700m (8,860ft.). Lodging in Hotel, Penitentes. Dinner.

DAY 9: ACONCAGUA ENTRANCE PARK – CONFLUENCIA
Breakfast. After loading the mules, we will begin our approach to base camp Plaza de Mulas. On this way, our first stop is camp “Confluence” at 3.368m. ( 11,050ft). Camp and Dinner.

DAY 10: CONFLUENCIA – SOUTH – CONFLUENCIA
Breakfast. Today our main objective is to get better acclimatization. Hike until the imposing Aconcagua south face lookout “Plaza Francia”, 7 hours round trip. Back to Confluencia and dinner.

DAY 11: CONFLUENCIA – PLAZA DE MULAS
Breakfast. Long trek that goes through Horcones valley until “Plaza de Mulas” base camp located to 4.200 meters above the sea level (13,780ft.). camp and dinner.

DAY 12: ACCLIMATIZATION DAY
We’ll make smooth trek near to our base camp, visit the Horcones Glacier. Rest. Lunch and dinner in camp.

DAY 13: CARRY LOAD TO CANADA CAMP
Breakfast. Today we will ascent until camp “Canada” at 4.877 meters (16,000ft), carrying part of our high altitude equipment, food and fuel. Back to Plaza de Mulas. Dinner.

DAY 14: PLAZA DE MULAS -  CANADA CAMP
Early morning we will initiate the ascent until the Camp “Canada” that is reached approximately after 3 – 4 hours. Set up our camp. Dinner.

DAY 15: CANADA CAMPAMENTO – NIDO DE CÓNDORES
Breakfast. Hike by a smooth slope, towards to “Nido de Cóndores” camp at 5,365m. (17,600ft.). Set up our camp. Dinner.

DAY 16: CARRY LOAD TO BERLÍN CAMP
Carry fuel and food to Berlin camp. Back to “Nido de Cóndores” camp. High altitude dinner.

DAY 17: NIDO DE CÓNDORES – BERLIN CAMP (5.950M.)
Early we will initiate our hike towards our last high camp. Here we’ll rest and prepare our equipment, water and food for the summit day.

DAY 18: BERLÍN – SUMMIT (6,960M – 22,834FT) – BERLIN
Leave Berlin camp before sunshine , we will initiate our ascent via normal route. “Paso del Viento” is our first difficulty due the long traverse in shadow. Soon, the path continues toward La Canaleta, the most steep section to climb and difficult due loose rocks. Once we arrive at last section, Filo del Guanaco, already we can count with the summit. Spectacular view of the South face of the Aconcagua. Back down to Berlin camp. Rest and dinner.

DAY 19: BERLIN – PLAZA DE MULAS

Carry al gear after summit. camp at Plaza de Mulas. Dinner.

DAY 20: PLAZA DE MULAS – PUENTE DEL INCA
Breakfast. Trek down to Puente del Inca. Hotel in Puente del Inca or continue to Santiago.

DAY 21: PUENTE DEL INCA – SANTIAGO
Land transfer to Santiago. Hotel. Dinner not included.

DAY 22-23: EXTRA DAYS
This expedition can take one two days extra in case of climatic conditions or if some climber needs to reach a better acclimatization at lower camps.

DAY 24: SANTIAGO – FLIGHT BACK
Transfer to airport.
