Located in the heart of the Cajón del Maipo valley in the Central Andes of Chile, we can climb this great volcano. Maipo Volcano is located between Chile and Argentina border. This is a magnificent expedition, where is difficult to find another climbers at the same way, due is distance Santiago.

Day 1: Arrival Santiago.
Pick up at the airort and transfer to hotel in Santiago.
Day 2: Santiago - Maipo valley.
Transfer from Santiago to Cajón del Maipo valley. Here and after one hour and thirty minutes by car, we will arrive until our first camp.
Day 3: Base camp.
In te morning we will continue our route on our 4WD truck until Cruz de Piedra refuge. Here we will load our horses with our common and personal equipment. Then, we will continue our trek until our base camp on Alvarado lagoon. Arrive to our base camp at 2.700m.
Day 4: High Camp.
Move from base camp to high camp Alvarado at 3.800m. located in a wide plateau.
Day 5: High camp - summit - Base camp.
Breakfast in the morning. Before sunshine we will leave our camp toward the Maipo summit, hiking on the edge near Chilean/Argentinean border line. About 5-6 hours until the top.
Day 6: Extra day in case of better acclimatization or better climate.
Day 7: Santiago.
Base camp - beginning of approach to Santiago. Hotel.
