Mountaineering
in the Chilean Andes
Central
Andes Mountaineering
From Santiago,
the mountain range of the Andes invites you to climb snow covered
summits
such as El Plomo and La Paloma, next to the majesty of Altar hill,
Tupungato,
Marmolejo, San Jose and Maipo volcanoes, which are a magnificent
opportunity
for adventure at high mountains, as well as a great opportunity of
training
before you go to the Aconcagua.
From Santiago to the
south, we
found the Descabezado Volcano (Decapitated Volcano), located in the
Maule district. This is a incomparable expedition through native
chilean forest, cristal clear waters, waterfalls, hot springs, snow,
lava fields and a volcanic summit of 3.830 alti-meters.
Technical
and non technical routes that guarantee you an excellent expedition.
