Lake District in Chile have a wide alternatives for ski (ski touring) in winter and spring (from July to October). Ski touring in this area is best way to reach lonely places to contemplate fantastic panoramic composed by forest, lakes and volcanoes. In our trip we choose several places where you can enjoy about lake Distric. This trip is designed for those people who like good exercise, ski in remote hills and enjoying nieces places, where also we can relax after each ski day several places with thermal waters along our trip and also cozy refuges.

Day 1: Arrival at Santiago.
Arrival at Santiago. Pick up at Santiago airport and transfer at our Hotel in town. Dinner.
Day 2: Drive to Chillan ski area.
Pick up at Santiago Hotel. Drive to Chillan in a private vehicle. Hotel. Dinner.
Trail food on ski touring days: Sandwich, peanuts, dried juice, candies, peanuts, cereals bars, fruit, small juice box, chocolate bar, biscuits, cheese, salami.
Day 3: Volcan Chillan (3.122m).
Total ascent from ski area 1.380m
Breakfast. Drive to Ski area. From here we will start our ascent to this summit. Total ascent 1.380m. Ski down. Hotspring at the Termas de Chillan resort. Hotel
Day 4: Drive to Antuco Volcano.
Breakfast. Early ski in the morning. Departure from Chillan before lunch. Stop for lunch at Salto del Laja restaurant. Continue drive to Antuco area. Lodging in a cabin in Antucalhue. Dinner.
Day 5: Antuco Volcano (2,985m.)
Total ascent from ski area 1.490m
Short drive to Antuco ski area. Randonee Antuco volcano. Along the up hill we contemplate a great view of Lago Laja (Laja lake). Ski down and return to our cabin in Antucalhue. Dinner.
Day 6: Drive to Lonquimay.
From Antucalhue we will drive in a private vehicle 320km until Lonquimay volcano. Hotel.
Day 7: Lonquimay Volcano (2,800m)
Total ascent from ski area 1.200m.
Short drive to Corralco ski area. Climb Lonquimay volcano, total ascent 1,200m. , contemplate our first great panoramic of Lake District amazing down hill in a wide area of this volcano. Back to our mountain refuge. Visit spa Malalcahuello hotspring to enjoy relaxing hot thermal water. Dinner.
Day 8: Llaima Volcano (3.100m.) - Pucon.
Total ascent from ski area 1.700m.
Breakfast in the morning. Early drive to Las Araucarias ski area at LLaima Volcano. Summit attempt to Llaima crater (1,500m.). It´s a hard long hike, but even if do not have enough time to reach this summit Llaima offer us a great ski randonnee. Back to our refuge. Transfer to Pucon. Lodging in Hostal in town.
Day 9: Villarrica Volcan (2840m.)
Total ascent from ski area 1.600m
Breakfast in the morning. Arrival at ski area of this volcano with a great view of Villarrica lake. We will go up hill in our skies until the crater of this active volcano at 2,840m,. From here is possible to see lava flows into the crater. After that, perfect ski down hill. Back Pucon and continue drive to Menetue Hotspring. Back to Pucon. Hotel.
Day 10: Pucon - Calafquen.
Transfer from Pucon to Calafquen. Rest at the afternoon. Dinner.
Day 11: Ascent volcán Mocho.
Total ascent: 1,000m.
Breakfast. Transfer to Huilo Huilo. From here we will start our ski toward summit at 2,400m. ski down and back to Calafquen. Rest and dinner.
Day 12: Drive back to Santiago.
Drive to Santiago a Santiago. Hotel.
Day 13: Santiago airport.
Drive to Santiago airport.
