This trekking visit El Plomo
base camp (4.100m.) with a
spectacular view of the
Glacier.
We sleep at 3,300m of
altitude. All services such
as mules, food, tents,
transportation and mountain
guide are inclusive.
El Plomo summit 17,815 ft.
(5.430 mts.), is the highest
mountain viewed from
Santiago. Formerly visited
by the Incas to make his
rituals, it is an
incomparable beauty. In our
trek we will follow the Inca
path to this summit. On
February 1954 a “arriero”
found near El Plomo suimmit
a eight years old Inca boy
frozen. This was part of the
Inca rituals to big
mountains of the area, in
this case of Santiago Area.
